PETIT LAPIN CHERCHE UN AMI

Hi folks! I've been away for a long time, getting ready for my big move to the US, Los Angeles to be precise. I've been here for 10 days now, and I was dying to make a very important post about a book I illustrated a few months ago, Little bunny is looking for a friend with the french publisher Chocolat Jeunesse. I fell deeply in love with this story written by Céline Claire and I hope you will, too. The book has just been released, you can find it here or here. Enjoy!

FLOOPALOO, WHERE ARE YOU?

Hello everyone, a billion years ago I developed the characters of a french TV series called Floopaloo, where are you? formerly known as Summer Camp, with the studio Xilam Animation. This is the first time I don't work on a production based on my designs but I think the artists who replaced me did a pretty good job. And the backgrounds are gorgeous. So I recommand it.


I choose to put the original designs of the characters on my blog because I like them better (I did the revised designs myself but I prefer those little guys). Here are Lisa and Matt, the two heroes of the show (Matt kind of looks like Pete Doherty now). And here are some posings.

So I heard that the show is already on air on the french TV channel France 5, weekdays at 09:10am. Watch it if you can!

NEW BOOK IS OUT!

Hi everyone, last october I taught character design at Gobelins to the first year students. The subject I choose was "Super hero and Sidekick". One thing I'd have love to do is to draw my own version of those characters while teaching the class, but I didn't even had the time to do a pee so I didn't do it. Anyway here they are (I didn't really think of what I'd do, they just came that way).

Hello everyone, last month I worked for a very cute TV show called "Driver Dan's Story Train" on air on cbeebies (BBC for kids). Dan the lion reads a book to his friends during the show, and I had to illustrate the story called "Picnic Panic". I love bears!
